Wild Grapes 9 Months, 4 Weeks ago  
I have been noticing a lot more wild grape vines successfully taking advantage of the increased sunlight opportunities made available by last Winter's/Spring's tree damage on my property. I would desire any information referrals about wild grapes and influence in local habitat. Thanks in advance.

good observation about the grapes taking advantage of increased sun following what I assume was the ice storm of last winter. Those wild grapes are a great source of what wildlife biologists refer to as "soft mast" or food for a wide variety of species. I found this information that may be helpful:
