To a stumpery with thee 9 Months, 1 Week ago

Hello. I recently saw a segment on Gardening By The Yard that talked about Stumpery. A Victorian way of using arranged up-turned stumps planted in a woodland setting. It was beautiful. They also used plentiful fern plantings to accent the amazing lines the roots afforded. I have not been able to get it out of my mind since.
I will have a stumpery on my lot. Just looking to see if anyone is aware of an existing stumpery around? I would want to plan mine thoroughly. There does not seem to be a plethora of "google-info" out there.
I am looking at fallen trees in a whole new way!

I must say i have never heard of this stumpery condition or idea! Many people i know don't like the thought of stumps on their land because it means they had to have trees cut...
you are the first person I've ever heard of who likes stumps, and even refers to them in an artistic, creative way. I can't point you in a direction for information- I can only ask that you please send us some pictures for the acorn site!!
